Morjim Beach

Tranquil haven for relaxation and nature lovers, famous for nesting Olive Ridley turtles.

orjim (pronounced Morji ) is also known as 'Little Russia', thanks to the expatriate russian community living here. Morjim is on the northern bank of the Chapora River estuary and Olive Ridley sea turtle nesting ground.

Morjim beach, north of Calangute, is cleaner and less crowded than the other famed Goa beaches.

From Panaji Morjim Beach is about 30km. Further 10km north is the much known Arambol Beach
